Chatcon ("Chatcon", "we", "us", or "our") provides WhatsApp marketing automation, broadcast messaging, AI chatbot and CRM integration services built on Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you when you visit chatcon.in or use the Service as a registered business ("you", "your").

2. Information We Collect

• Account information — your name, business name, email address, phone number, billing address and payment details provided at registration or purchase.
• WhatsApp Business Account data — your WhatsApp Business Account ID, phone number ID, message templates, and the contact lists and conversation data that flow through your connected WhatsApp number.
• Usage data — login timestamps, IP address, device and browser information, and feature usage within your dashboard.
• Cookies — small data files used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure site performance (see Section 5).
• Payment information — processed by our payment partners; Chatcon does not store full card numbers on its own servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate and maintain the Service, including message delivery, chatbot automation and analytics.
• To process payments, renew subscriptions, and send billing communications.
• To respond to support requests and provide customer service.
• To improve the Service, build new features, and monitor for abuse or Terms violations.
• To send service-related updates; marketing messages are sent only with your consent and you can opt out at any time.

4. WhatsApp Data and Meta Platform Compliance

Chatcon operates on Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API). You remain the data controller for the contacts and conversations you manage through your account, and you are responsible for obtaining valid opt-in consent from your customers before messaging them, in line with Meta's WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy. Chatcon does not sell your contact lists or conversation data to third parties.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies required for the dashboard to function, and optional analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may limit certain features of the Service.

6. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We may share information with: (a) Meta Platforms, Inc., as required to operate the WhatsApp Business Platform; (b) payment processors to complete transactions; (c) cloud hosting and infrastructure providers who store data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations; and (d) authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal data to advertisers.

7. Data Retention

We retain account and conversation data for as long as your account remains active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

8. Data Security

We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular monitoring, to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or request deletion of your personal data, and to withdraw consent for marketing communications. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 12.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the dashboard or by email, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision.
